Isaac was born in 1842. He was the son of Nathaniel Hayes and Sally Detty. He served his country and was invalided in 1880. It was renewed in 1890 and 1920, presumably for the benefit of his widow since Isaac passed away in 1906.
The notation indicates that he was an "Army Invalid." Below, it notes, "Pt. B., U. S. 13th Inf." Martha A. Kincade is listed as his beneficiary.
