George C Haynes was born about 8 Nov 1817 in Trenton, Hancock, Maine, United States, son of Ephraim Haynes (1774 - 1824) and Mary (Hopkins) Haynes (1779 - 1838).
George married Elizabeth Ann Stevens (~1820 - 1864) Their daughter was Caroline Steward (Haynes) Leland (1841 - 1918).
George died on 30 Nov 1889 in Trenton aged 72.
