Charles was born in 1936. He was the son of Marion Lloyd Heald and Ivah Ottis (Hazen) Heald.
In 1955, Charles married Brenda Lee Davis (1939–2014). The had one child: Michele Ann Heald (1956–1956) who passed away at just one day old.
He passed away in 2018 and was laid to rest in the Dicksonburg Cemetery, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, USA.
Charles Edward (Chuck) Heald, 81, of Inlet Road, Conneautville, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville.
Born July 23, 1936, in Dicksonburg, he was the son of Marion and Iva Hazen Heald. He married Brenda Lee Davis on October 8, 1955; she preceded him in death on December 16, 2014.
He was a graduate of the first class at Conneaut Valley High School in 1955. For over 20 years, Chuck worked at Avtex Fibers in Meadville. He retired in 2006, as a custodian at the Crawford County Courthouse.
Chuck was a devout Christian. He was a member of the former Dicksonburg United Methodist Church where he was a lay minister. He was a member of the Lakeland Area Bible Church in Dicksonburg.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved being outdoors at Pymatuning Lake and Kinzua Dam. He also enjoyed target and skeet shooting.
Chuck loved his family and cherished spending time with them.
Survivors include four children, Janice Smock and her husband, Michael, of Linesville, Charles L. Heald of Harmonsburg, Leonard Heald and his wife, Robin, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, and Linda Zicarelli and her husband, Rocco, of Conneautville; five grandchildren, Brent, Ashley, Ronald, Seth and Trista; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and infant daughter, Michele; a grandson, Rocco Luke Zicarelli; a sister, Hazel Bennett; and a brother, Marvin Heald.
Charles was mentioned on a memorial in Dicksonburg Cemetery, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, United States with a death date of 1 April 2018.[1]
