Biography
William was born in 1830. He was the son of John Heath and Frances Davis. He passed away in 1898.
- He was the farmer most of his life.
- William A. Heath was buried at his farm in the family cemetery. When the farm was developed into the current Wal-Mart shopping center, the family cemetery, which had grave markers and is visible in historic aerial photographs, was desecrated. Wal-Mart placed a centoaph at Gethsemane Church of Christ to memorialize the names of the family whose resting place was destroyed.
William Heath served in the United States Civil War.
