Jean-Baptiste (Hebert) Hébert was born on 7 Oct 1753 in Varennes, Canada, Nouvelle-France, son of Jean Baptiste Hébert (1725 - 1802) and Marie Josephe Banlier (1724 - 1757).

Jean-Baptiste married Marie Angélique Brisset (1752 - 1832) on 17 Aug 1772 in Varennes. [1]Their children were:

  1. Marie Josephte (Hebert) Hébert (1782 - 1813)
  2. Louis Hebert (1786 - 1819)
  3. Charlotte Hebert (1792 - )
  4. Antoine Hébert (1796 - 1832)
  5. Pierre Hébert (1798 - 1889).

Jean-Baptiste died on 19 Jul 1834 in St. Hyacinthe, Bas-Canada aged 80.
