Beatrice was a Friend (Quaker)
Beatrice Hedley was born on the 8th day of the 2nd month - 1709 (8 April 1709) in Darlington, Durham, England to Ann (Bell) and Thomas Hedley. [1][2] She was baptized the same day she was born. [3]
Beatrice Hedley married Joshua I'Anson (Janson), son of John and Ann (Hudson) I'Anson, on 22nd February 1730 at Masham, Yorkshire, England.[4].
They moved to Darlington, Durham, England where Joshua worked in the Linen weaving business and they were members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)[5].
