Biography

Bernard was born in 1893 in Kickapoo, Peoria, Illinois to George Heinz and Mary Becker. He married Dorothy Frances Cramer at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Kickapoo, Peoria, Illinois on 19 Apr 1922. The two had six children, two of whom died as infants. Their four living children included 1. Imogene Heinz, 2. Thomas Joseph Heinz, 3. Eleanor Ann Heinz, and 4. David George Heinz. Bernard passed away 28 Nov 1967 when the vehicle he was driving struck another car near his home in Edwards, Peoria, Illinois. He is buried at Saint Patrick cemetery, Kickapoo, Peoria, Illinois.
