- According to his gravestone Benjamin Helme was aged 71 when he died on December 21, 1805. I.E. he was born circa 1734.
- On Dec 09, 1760, Benjamin married Mary Warbutton at St Peter, Bolton le Moors, Lancashire.

They rest together in peace at the cemetery of todays Turton Unitarian chapel
