Isabella was born in 1876. She was baptised in Bareli, Bengal, India by parents Albert Withers Hendy and Annie. [1]
Her father was in the Army. He retired to Lancashire when he retired.
Isabella because a Nurse and was appointed to the Roll of Queens Nurses in 1913. Her appointment card confirmed her birthdate as August 3rd 1876, she was Educated in Clonmel, Ireland and her father was a retired military officer. Her hospital training had been at the Burnley Union Infirmary from May 1909 to Mary 1912. [2]
