Henry emigrated to Australia and in 1924 married Elsie Stout in North Sydney. [3]
In 1930 Henry was living in Lane Cove, North Sydney with Elsie. He was a painter. [4]
Henry George died aged 68 on 17 August 1962. He is buried in Macquarie Park Cemetery in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The inscription on his headstone reads .. ' (Joe). b. 19 Mar 1894. Parents of Doris & Jack (both decd), Norma, Laurel, Robert & their families. At peace with Doris & Jack'. [5]
