Painesville Telegraph, Painesville,OH 23 Feb 1927 Thompson Man, Pinned By Tractor, Dies Here Julius Herder, age 23 of Thompson, died early this morning at the Lake County Memorial Hospital from injuries suffered when a tractor which he was driving yesterday turned over and pinnsd him beneath it. It is said that Mr. Herder had started the mptor of the tractor, and tried to back it up. The wheels of the machine were frozen in the mud, it is said, and instead of going backward, it tipped up and turned over. Mr. Herder was a member of the Zion Lutheran church of Painesville and has many friends there. He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. John Herder; three brothers, Henry, William and Ernest; and three sisters, Bertha, Lydia and Molly. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev, Martin Ilse of Geneva Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be made in the Thompson cemetery.
