She married Norman Montgomery in about 1866.^[3]

She died of cerebral thrombosis on May 18, 1916, at her home at 34 Pinckney Street in Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina, United States.^[4] She was buried at the Humane and Friendly Society Cemetery in Charleston, South Carolina.^[5]
