He was baptized on 02 Dec 1770 in Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA [1] and his parents were Mercy (Williams) and Josiah Grant Hewit, Sr. (1742-1812).
Thomas Williams Hewitt married Grace Hall (1766-1836), daughter of Elizabeth (Wilcox) and Samuel Hall.
He died about 1840 in Lenox, Madison County, New York, USA.
