Teunis was born at 2PM in Wanneperveen in house no. 217 on the 19th of November, 1852, to parents Jan Hilberts (31), peat maker, living in Wanneperveer, and Annigje Teunis Klaver, without occupation.[1]
Teunis (23), laborer, living in Tolbert, married in Leek on the 29th of January, 1876, with Hiltje Eekhoff (29), without occupation, born in Zevenhuizen, living in Niebert, daughter of Jakob Eekhoff and Trijntje Andries, both laborers, living in Niebert. Teunis' parents are also both laborers, and living in Tolbert. Witnesses were Sjoerd Piek (54), laborer, Diele Maans (52), laborer, Hendrik Rudolf Trip (24), prospective civil law notary, and Klaas Henderikus ten Hoor (24), assistent teacher. All witnesses were living in Leek, none of the witnesses were in any way related to the couple.[2]
Hiltje (82), without occupation, living in Tolbert, wife of Teunis Hilberts, passed away in Tolbert on the 13th of November, 1928.[3]
Teunis (81), without occupation, widower of Hiltje Eekhoff, passed away in Tolbert on the 3rd of April, 1934.[4]
