Bascom Horace Hildreth was born on 02 July 1896 in Coffee County, Alabama, United States. He was the son of Robert Henry Jackson Hildreth (1846-1907) and Annie Ruth (Carmichael) Hildreth (1872-1947).[1]

They thought that he may have spent his life in Memphis, Tennessee working for the Snuff Company, but the company did not respond to their inquiries. Only one brief paragraph is accorded to Bascom Horace Hildreth in their book.[4]
