Leroy was born in 1875. He was the son of Oscar Hinkley and Pluma Philips. He passed away in 1966.

Hinckley (12, b. IL, telegraph boy, both parents b. IL), L.R. Hinckley (male, 5, b. CA, both parents b. IL), and C.R. Hinckley (female, 5, b. CA). The Hinckley children were identified as Carroll Berton Hinckley, Louis Roy Hinckley, and Eloise Ray Hinckley in database records. Mrs. Delanza was identified as Pluma DeLanza, Pluma Amelia Phillips, and Pluma Hinckley. Mr. DeLanza was identified as Francisco DeLanza.^[1]
