Biography
Ambrose was born in 1890. He is the son of Henry Hines and Margaret Whalen. The 1911 Census shows him living in the household of his mother, now a widow, while he works in the quarry in Marble Mountain. He was working as a miner, living in Marble Mountain, Nova Scotia when he first married Lillian Ranson in D'escousse in 1916, After her death he married Sarah Jane Gerrroir. Ambrose died in 1974 and is buried in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery in Trenton, Nova Scotia.
