Sarah Jane Garrick Hiscox was born in 1874. She is the daughter of Abraham Hiscox and Jessie Johnston. ^[1]

Marriage. In 1897, Sarah married John Thomas Anderson, in Victoria. ^[2]

WEDDINGS

ANDERSON-HISCOX.

The marriage of Mr. J. T. Anderson, Mount Clear, and Miss Ettie Hiscox, daughter of Mrs. Hiscox, Havelock-street, Ballarat, look place at St. John's, Ballarat, on June 16, the Rev. J. C. Carmichael officiating. The bride, who was given away by Mr. Andrew Robertson, wore rich white silk, trimmed with pearl passementerie, swansdown, and silk chiffon; tulle veil, embroidered at the corners, and coronet of orange blossom, fastened with a pearl star; shower bouquet of white flowers, maiden hair and asparagus fern (gift of bride groom). Miss Laura Hiscox (bridesmaid) wore buttercup silk, trimmed with buttercup silk chiffon and lace; large black velvet picture hat, with black ostrich plumes, flowers, jet and steel ornaments. Mr. Fraser was best man. The travelling-dress was of navy blue serge, velvet sleeves, braid and jet trimmings; hat to match. ^[3]

DEATHS

ANDERSON. - On November 28, at Devon, Grove road, Lorne, passed peacefully away, Sarah Jane Garrick (Etta), widow of the late John T. Anderson, and loving mother of Phyllis (Mrs. R. C. Lloyd), Rita (Mrs. R. Sanderson), William (deceased), Jessie (Mrs. R. McConchie), and Alma (Mrs. H. E. Leggo). and loving grandma of Marjorie, Lynette, Patricia, Margaret, Lorraine, Beveley [sic], John, and Susan. —Thy will be done.

ANDERSON. - On November 28, at Devon, Grove road, Lorne, passed peacefully away, Etta, the loved sister of Jessie, Flora, and Jule. —At rest.

FUNERAL NOTICES

ANDERSON.-The Friends of the late Mrs. SARAH JANE (ETTA) ANDERSON are respectfully informed that her remains will be interred In the Lorne Cemetery.

The Funeral will leave All Saints' Church of England, Lorne, THIS DAY (Tuesday, November 29) on conclusion of a service commencing at 1 pm.
