Biography
Stephen Hobbs was born May 18, 1700, in Hampton, New Hampshire the son of Nehemiah Hobbs and Mary (Holmes) Hobbs. [1]
On February 17, 1725, in Hampton, Steven married Patience Towle, daughter of Benjamin Towle. They settled in Kensington. Children of Stephen and Patience are:
Noah Hobbs, born August 30, 1725, baptized November 28, 1725
Abigail Hobbs, born January 22, 1727, baptized April 2, 1727
Hephzibah, baptized June 2, 1728

Stephen Hobbs, Senior's Will was proved on November 30, 1757. His daughter, Abigail was not included in the Will and presumed to have died prior to that date. [2][3]
