Biography

OBITUARY: Gloria Mae Stubbs passed peacefully on December 12, 2015 in Excelsior Springs, MO. She was born August 9, 1943 in Temple, TX to Oscar and Ella Hobratschk. She was an Honor Graduate of Belton High School in 1961 and the Durham Business School in Waco in 1963. She married Charles Stubbs on October 9, 1965 and worked at Scott & White Hospital for several years. Charles and Gloria moved to Livingston, TX where she worked at Trinity Lutheran School, Texas Department of Criminal Justice and Livingston I.S.D. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Surviving family members include sister, Sylvia Winkler, husband Rodney of The Grove, TX.; Son, Kevin Stubbs, wife Rebekah, granddaughter Versailles of Bakersfield CA.; Daughter, Lori Kramer, husband Zachary, grandchildren Ella, Samuel, and Abigail of Kearney MO. Committal Service at Leavenworth National Cemetery on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at 2:30pm, 150 8th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048 (913-758-4105) Celebration of Life at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Friday January 8, 2016 at 2:30pm, 220 The Grove Road, Gatesville, TX 76528 (254-986-2607). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, St. Paul Lutheran, or Mount Calvary Lutheran, Excelsior Springs, MO.
