Sallie Hodges Fraser

Albany, Ga. - Sallie Hodges Fraser, 82, died Thursday at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am today at Albany Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will be at 4 pm in Mill Creek Cemetery in Nassau County.

A native of St. George, Ga., she had lived in Albany for 31 years. She was a homemaker and member of Albany Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Warren W. of Dublin, Ga., Wallace N. of Valdosta, Ga., LaVaughn H., of Gainesville and Arthur D. Fraser of Albany, Ga.; four daughters, Sadie King of Tallahassee, Evelyn Chesser of Jacksonville, Oveda Hunt of Starke, and Joy Edmonds of Albany, Ga.; 24 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Kimbrell-Sterm Funeral Home of Albany, Ga., is in charge of the arrangements.
