This is the profile for Mary Hodgetts, who was the wife of Nicholas Baker and the mother of New Haven Colony immigrant Margery (Baker) Nash.
Parentage; Date and Place of Birth
Mary's parentage had not been determined and her date and place of birth are uncertain. Based on her estimated date of marriage, Mary was probably born about 1565. Since Mary and her husband lived in Kings Norton, Worcestershire and Oldswinford, Worcestershire, Mary was probably born in the general area of those towns. A search in February 2024 on findmypast.com of Hodgetts (or variant spelling) within 10 miles of Kings Norton or Oldswinford found a large number of Hodgetts families, particularly in Sedgley, Dudley, Handsworth, Kidderminster and West Bromwich. As a result, in the absence of additional evidence, it is not possible to identify her probable parents.

Mary married Nicholas Baker.[1] Their date and place of marriage are uncertain. Based on the estimated date of birth of their first child, they were probably married about 1585. Hodgett-8 and Hodgetts-27 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, same husband. Believe Hodgetts LNAB should prevail, as father of Hodgett-8 is William Hodgetts.
Hodgett-9 and Hodgett-8 appear to represent the same person because: separate Mary from other Mary as both were left as mother during merge, were not separated and merged before Nicholas's were merged - "Mother of Nicholas Baker"
