Biography

John was born in 1654. He was the son of Nicholas Hodsdon. [1]

He married Rebecca Unknown. [1]

He was a seafaring man and plied his vocation along the coast and on the several rivers in the vicinity of Kittery. Nov. 22, 1734, a quitclaim deed was given him by the heirs of Nicholas Hodsdon, in which reference is made to a deed given him some years previous by his brothers and sisters, and which deed has been lost ; in this last deed, the descendants of Nicholas Hodsdon sell all their right, title and interest to a grant of 100 acres, which was given Nicholas by the town of Kittery, June 24, 1673.

He passed away in 1734.
