Baptism: 20 Dec 1857 at the Dutch Reformed Church, Malmesbury. Baptism register: She was baptised: Margaretha Hendrina Wilhelmina. Parents: Hendrik Paul Hoffman and Margaretha Wilhelmina Smit. Zwartland. Witnesses: Jakobus Hoffman, Elisabeth Roussouw.
Death: According to the registration of death Margaretha Hendrina Wilhelmina Louw born Hoffman died on 28 Feb 1943 at Dorcas Home, 2 Bree Street, Cape Town. She was a widow, 87 years old and was to be buried at the Woltemade Cemetery. Cause of death: Acute gastro enteritis.
