According to Vis. of Chesh., Margaret Holcroft was the daughter of [1] John Holcroft of Holcroft, co. Lancs.[1] and ..., daughter of Urmeston of Westleigh.[1]
Her brother is supposedly John Holcroft, who married a dau. of Hamnett Massy.[1]

Family

She married James Gerard, esq. of Ince and Astley[1][2] and had two sons and two daughters.
