According to Vis. of Chesh., Margaret Holcroft was the daughter of [1] John Holcroft of Holcroft, co. Lancs.[1] and ..., daughter of Urmeston of Westleigh.[1]
Her brother is supposedly John Holcroft, who married a dau. of Hamnett Massy.[1]
The construction currently shown on WikiTree, moves Marg. down a generation and makes her dau. of John Holcroft & ... Massy. (Reason unknown.[citation needed]).
