Hollis Holden was born in Appalachia, in Alabama.
Arnold was born in 1920. He was the son of James Holden and Mary Michael. He passed away in 2007.
The 1930 United States census records: James D age 34 and Mary age 30 with children Willie age 11, Hollis age 9, and Lorine age 7 are living in Center Star, Lauderdale, Alabama. [1]
