Tabitha (Holder) Templeton was born in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Tabitha (Holder) Templeton was born on 25 Jul 1845 in White, Tennessee, United States, daughter of Andrew Jackson Holder (1822 - 1896) and Hannah Jane Holder (1825 - >1888).

Tabitha married Thomas Jefferson Templeton (1842 - 1924) on 19 Oct 1865 in Van Buren Co. TN.[1]

Their daughter was Amanda Amaranda (Templeton) Gist (1866 - 1937).

In the 1850 census Tabitha (age 4) was in Van Buren, Tennessee, United States.[2]

In the 1860 census Tobithey (age 14) was in Van Buren, Tennessee, United States.[3]

Tabitha died on 17 Oct 1866 in White aged 21. She is buried in Templeton Cemetery, White County, Tennessee.[4]
