Edward T. Holland, Rollingstone, Dies
Rollingstone, Minn. Edward T. Holland, 63, died suddenly at his home here Thursday at 1:15 p.m. of a heart attack.
A retired farmer, Mr. Holland was born January 14, 1888, at Sommerset, Minn., moving to St. Charles with his parents as a young boy. For 20 tests he farmed near here, moving into Rollingstone when he retired two years ago.
Surviving are his wife; four sons, Harold, Minneapolis; James, in the Navy at Newport, R. I.; Corporal John, Fort Lewis, Wash., and Corporal Kenneth, in the Air Force at Fort Meade. Md.; four daughters, Sister Rose (Mary), Sacred Heart order, Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Maurice (Agnes) Fenton, Rollingstone; Lieutenant Eileen, with the Air Force at San Antonio, Texas, and Patricia, at home; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Francis Holland, Winona, and William, St. Charles.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at Holy Trinity church here, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Kohner Funeral home here Saturday after 2 p.m. and until the hour of service Monday.
