Joan Henrich Herman Hollenkamp was born a few days before 8 August 1782 in Ankum.[1] He was the son of Joan Arnold Herman Hollenkamp and Anna Maria van Stockum.[1]
He was baptised in the catholic church St. Nikolaus Ankum on 8 August 1782.[1] His godfather was Gerd Henrich Hollenkamp, assisted by Joan Herman Hollenkamp and Catharina Margareta Meyers zu Westrup.[1]

Joan Henrich Herman Hollenkamp married Anne Marie Kessen on 6 February 1812 in St. Nikolaus, while Ankum was under French occupation.[2] Their witnesses were Johann Henr. Frerker and Herm Gerd Lohmann.[2]
When his mother (Maria Catharina (von Stockum) Hollenkamp (abt.1745-1819)) died in 1819, she was residing in Geers Leibzucht. Also, the family of Joan Henrich Herman Hollenkamp and Anne Marie Kessen lived in Geers Leibzucht in Stockum, as is evidenced by their son (Gerd Arent Hollenkamp (1815-1822)) passing away in that building on 6 April 1822.[3]
Joan Henrich Herman Hollenkamp died on 26 November 1841 in Stockum, Ankum, Bersenbrück, Osnabrück, Hannover, Deutscher Bund aged 59.[4] He was buried on 29 November 1841 in the catholic church cemetery St. Nikolaus, Ankum..[4]
