John married first Charity STANDAGE (1797-1821).[1] He married second on 30 Sep 1823, at Decator, Adams County, IN, Jane ANDERSON; children (surname HOLMAN):[2][3]

IN), Wm G. (16, farmer, b. IN), Mary J. (14, b. IN), Margaret E (12, b. IL), Rachel C. (11, b. IL), and Sarah E. (4, b. IL) and nephew Robert H. (21, farmer, b. IN).[6]
