Thomas Arthur Holmes was born in Jun 1878 in Leeds, Yorkshire West Riding, England, United Kingdom, son of Joseph Holmes (1848 - <1879) and Eliza Ann (Fryer) Holmes (1852 - 1902).[1] He was Christened on 25 Dec 1879 at St Judes, Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire West Riding, England.[2]
William married Margaret Ann Fagan in September quarter 1900.[3]
According to the 1911 census, the couple had 4 children, 2 of which survived. So far only 3 children have been identified, including the 2 who survived. They were: Jane Holmes Fagan, Ivy Margaretta Holmes and Joseph Holmes. Ivy died in infancy.
In 1901, Thomas was living at 29, Bread Street, Leeds, Yorkshire West Riding, England, United Kingdom. He was a publican. It's not clear if the pub was at this address.
Thomas died before 25 Nov 1935 in Leeds aged ~57. He was buried on that date at Harehills Cemetery, Leeds.[6][7]
