Rebecca (Horn) Watson was born in Teesdale, County Durham, England.

Rebecca Horn, daughter of John Horn and Rebecca Shacklock, was born at Riggside, Harwood, Teesdale, County Durham, England and baptised at St Mary the Virgin, Middleton-In-Teesdale, Teesdale, County Durham, England on 2 November 1723.[1][2]

In 1746 Rebecca had a son, Joseph:

  • Joseph Horn (bef.1746-1803) was born at Harwood, Middleton-in-Teesdale, Durham, England and was baptised on 2 August 1746 at Middleton-in-Teesdale, Durham, England.[3] [4]

Anthony Race (bef.1709-1754) and Rebecca Horn were married on 22 June 1749 at St Mary the Virgin, Middleton-in-Teesdale, Durham.[5][6] Children from this marriage were:

Rebecca's husband, Anthony Race, died at Harwood in 1754 and was buried on 28 May 1754 at Middleton in Teesdale, St Mary the Virgin.[7][8]

Rebecca Race nee Horn and William Watson were married on 16 January 1755 at St Mary the Virgin, Middleton-In-Teesdale, Teesdale, Durham, England.[9]

On 3 May 1783 Rebecca was sworn to administer the "Goods, Chattels & Credits" of her deceased natural son George Race.[10][11]

Rebeccah Watson (Race, Horn) died at Middleside, Teesdale, County Durham, England on 23 January 1791 and was buried at St Mary the Virgin, Middleton-In-Teesdale, Teesdale, Durham, England on 25 January 1791.[12]
