Biography

Jesse Hoshal (aka Hoshall) enlisted in 1776 from Frederictown, Marlyand and served until 1779 under Captain Fister and Colonel Stricker; he was in the battles of Tenton, Princeton, Brandywine, Germantown, and Monmouth. His wife received a pension. (From the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution- Volume 82, Page 243 Mrs. Ruby Hoshal Ferris - DAR ID Number 81639
