He lived in South Colombia, New York.^[2] The 1840 census shows both a George House and George N. House in Columbia, Herkimer, New York. There was a George House who married Elisabetha Youl on April 25, 1819 in Herkimer, but he is called "son of Joseph."^[3] (For a possible Joseph see ^[4].)
