FHL Film 021,024. * Abraham Howe, eldest son and one of the heirs of William Howe, late of Buffaloe Township, died intestate...seized in the two following described Tracts of land situate in the township of Buffaloe, one whereas being the mansion tract is bounded by lands of the heirs of John Vancamp deceased Jacob Kumler and the Juniata River containing three hundred and six Acres and allowance be the same more or less for which there is a Patent, And the other aforesaid tracts is bounded by the above described tract land of John Whitmer and the Juniata River containing two hundred and seventy Acres more or less leaving a widow to wit, Susanna Howe and issue ten children to wit The Petitioner, William Howe, John Howe, Edward Howe, Elizabeth intermarried with Henry Frank, Mary intermarried with Joseph McCollum, Susanna intermarried with Thomas Boyd, Ann Howe & Margaret Howe, and Esther Howe, the last three named of whom are still in their minority. The Petitioner also stated that he is desirous that the shares or purportly of the widow and heirs and legal representatives of the said intestate in the said Tracts of land and premises should be ascertained and separately enjoyed by them. He therefore prayed the Court to award an Inquest directed to the Sheriff of Cumberland County aforesaid to enquire whether the said two tracts of land and premises can bee parted and divided to and among the widow and all the heirs and
