Biography
Lydia Howe was born in 1772, in Easthampton, Suffolk county, New York, a daughter of Samuel Howe and his wife, Sarah (Rose) Howe. Lydia married Simeon Conklin(g),[1] a son of Jacob Conkling and Katherine (Schellinger) Conkling. Children of Lydia and Simeon include:
- Sally Conklin
- Stephen Conklin, born circa 1795, died December 6, 1847
- Abram Conklin, born circa 1806, died December 23, 1876, in Silver Creek Township, Cass county, Michgan [2] married Belinda Gilbert [3]
- Daniel Rose Howe Conklin, born March 10, 1810
- Rufus K Conklin, born 1816 married Lucia Seymore, in 1838
- George W Conklin, born 1819
- Richarde John R Conklin, born 1822, died 1853
