Charles Constant Marie Joseph Howet was born on December 12, 1868 in Gouvy. He was a son of François Joseph Howet and Josephine Offergeld.^[1] On April 8, 1894, he married Pauline Thiry in Grune.^[2] Together they were the parents of Marie Françoise Céline Howet, who was born on March 24, 1897 in Libramont.^[3]
