Biography
John Hubber was born in Cubert on 1 February 1843 and baptised there on 17 March 1843, he was the son of James and Mary Ann. [1]
He married Keziah Jeffery in St Allen on 9 September 1865. [2] They emigrated to Australia soon after.
John died in Moonta on 9 September 1924 and was buried in Moonta Cemetery [3]
The following notice was printed in The Adelaide Chronicle dated 20 September 1924 [4]
- HUBBER. — On September 9, at his residence, Cross-Roads, Moonta, John Hubber dearly beloved husband of the late Keziah Hubber; aged 81 years and nine months. Peacefully at rest.
