Vital Information
Virginia Louise Kelsey was born in Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma on Christmas Day, 1911 to Harry Edgar Hudson (1880-1953) and Geneva Lottie (Le Comte) Hudson (1886-1978) and she died in Midland, Texas on January 17, 1970.[1] Virginia married John H Kelsey on 1 September 1934 in Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, with her mother and John's brother, Alan, recorded as witnesses.[2]

In the 1920 census, Virginia (age 8) was recorded as the daughter of Harry Hudson in Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.[3]
In the 1930 census, Virginia (age 18) was recorded as the single daughter of Harry E Hudson in Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.[4]
Virginia attended Central High School in Tulsa,[5] followed by Christian College, and graduated from the University of Kansas, where she became a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.[6]
She married John "Jack" Hamilton Kelsey in a small ceremony at her parents' house (1365 East 26th Street in Tulsa), and Jack's parents were living at 1359 East 26th Street at the time of the wedding.[6]
The couple originally made a home in Tulsa, but had moved to Texas before their first son was born in 1937. In the 1940 and 1950 census, Virginia, Jack, and their two sons were enumerated in Midland, Texas. [7] [8] Virginia, daughter of Harry E Hudson & Geneva L Lecompt, died (age 58) on 17 January 1970 in Midland, Midland, Texas, United States. Virginia is buried in Grape Creek Cemetery, Navarro, Navarro County, Texas, United States.[9]
