Daniel Hughes was a Latter Day Saint pioneer.

Biography

Daniel was born in 1856. He was the son of James Hughes and Margaret Jones. He passed away in 1885.

Arrived on 21 May 1855 in Philadelphia on the ship Chimborazo which had departed from Liverpool 17 Apr 1855.[1]Remained in Pennsylvania through 1856. By 1858, had traveled to Caseyville, St. Clair County, Illinois.

Arrived in 1859 In Salt Lake City with 153 other individuals and 71 wagons in the Horton D. Haight and Frederick Kesler Freight Train from the outfitting post at Florence, Nebraska (now Omaha).
