George Ellis Hughes was born on Oct 26, 1866 at Washington County Arkansas. He was the son of Joseph Monroe Hughes and Eliza Eveline Hutchens. George married first to Frances Evabelle Baker on July 26, 1896 at Washington County Arkansas. He married second to Viola Moore on Feb 27, 1916 at Washington County Arkansas.[1] George married third to Rhoda Stonesifer on June 10, 1941 at Washington County Arkansas.[2] He married fourth to Gracie Mae Dace in 1943. George passed away on July 7, 1961 at Winslow Arkansas and was laid to rest in Black Oak Cemetery at Winslow Arkansas.[3]
