Biography

Margaret Elizabeth HULME was born on June 28, 1849, in Lauderdale, Tennessee.

She married James Thomas MCMEEKIN on June 4, 1872, in Fannin, Texas.

They had eight children in 19 years.

Margaret applied for Confederate Pensions after her husband passed.[1]

She died on June 30, 1935, in Coryell, Texas, at the age of 86, and was buried in Gatesville, Texas.[2]
