She was born of William A, Hunter and his third wife, Florence Ball (Rudd).
She is residing with her parents and step-siblings from her father and mother (Rudd) on West Clay, Richmond City 1910[1]. Her father is enumerated as "Alice Hunter" for his middle name, "Allison". His sister was Alice (Agnes) Livingston Hunter who was born in Wilmington, DE[2].
When her mother died in Mar 1911, her father had her and her sister, Rosa placed in the Brookand District Orphanage on 6th ave in Richmond 1920[3] with instructions they not be separated. As such they were not adopted[4].
She initially married George Daniel Talley[5] (1893–1958) in Richmond followed by Dennis James Donahue of Wilmington DE.
She never had children other than her step-son. Her life must have been traumatic with her mother's presumed illness and death from self afflicted abortion likely contributing. However, she became quite close to her step-sisters Agnes, Margaret and Edith (Especially) in the years preceding her death in Clearwater FL (photo of Edith and Florence in Clearwater Oct 1971).
