Amos W. Huntley, son of Martin Huntley and Phebe (Mack) Huntley, was born about 1806 in Lyme, Connecticut.[1]
He married Mrs. Mary Ann (Chadwick) Eldridge, widow of John Eldridge, on 31 March 1851.[1][2]
Mary Ann died on 30 November 1859 and he was a farmer when he appeared on the census of 2 July 1860 at Old Lyme, New London, Connecticut. His step-son and his family were living with him.[3] He was blind when he appeared on the census of 9 July 1870 in the home of his step-son, John Eldridge, at East Lyme, New London, Connecticut.[4] He was a boarder, a widower and blind when appeared on the census of 1880 at Old Lyme, New London, Connecticut.[5]
Amos died on 25 November 1883 at Old Lyme, New London, Connecticut.[1]
