Biography
On October 14,1912, W.N. Walker and Martha Alice Walker purchased 40 acres of land in Adair County, Oklahoma for $300.00. Family lore has it that the log house, a portion of which still stands, was built in the early 1920's. Currently, the property is owned by Sharon (Sheppard) Treib, daughter of Edna (Walker) Sheppard and Granddaughter of Clayton Clem Walker. Information supplied by Sharon Treib.
