Biography
Samantha was born on March 18 1829 in Indiana or Kentucky. Her find a grave states Kentucky. The 1850 census thru 1880 state Indiana.
She married Samuel on October 21 1846[1]
Between 1850 and 1880 she was living in Shawswick with her husband and children[2][3][4][5]
She died December 8 1894 and is buried in Ikerd Cemetery, Bedford, Lawrence County, Indiana[6]
Research Notes
Possible child James Douglas McKnight (1854-1917) is included on Find A Grave: Memorial #15519836, He is not in any census with them including 1860 when he would have been only 6. He is in 1870 census with a family named Bare, living 2 doors away from Samuel and Samantha, working on the Bare farm.
