Biography

William B Inglis was born about 1848 in Duns, Berwickshire, Scotland. He was the son of John Inglis and Mary Alexander. He immigrated to Vermont between 1851 and 1860. He married Mary Ann Driscoll on March 21, 1869 in Fairfax, Franklin, Vermont. Together they had 5 daughters: Lillie B, Florence A, Harriet "Hattie" W, Mable, and Frances Viola. William and family moved from Vermont to Connecticut in 1873 or 1874. William passed away about 1920, possibly in Groton, Connecticut.
