Transcriptions state she died on the 26th, but her obituary (The Monroe Morning World, January 23, 1955) and the Louisiana State Death Certificate Index state the 21st date. Her obituary states she left behind a son and three daughters, as well as a sister named Mrs. Adelia West and that she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Irby, born at Weston, MS [sic Wesson?].
