Biography

Thomas Ireland, son of John Ireland and Catherine Murray, was born about 1819 and baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 14 November 1819.[1]
In 1851 Thomas was living with his parents, his sister Catharine, his cousin Sidney Sinclair, and a one year old child called "Donald Dallas". Thomas's trade was "mill labourer" and the family lived in Murray Street in Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness.[2]
