Biography

Eliza Leonard Irons was born on June 22, 1873 in Monroe, Tennessee, United States, daughter of James Love Irons (1827–1910) and Martha Patsy Tilley (~1827–1890).[1]

Eliza (22) married James Washington Tate (23) (born on November 1, 1871 in Monroe; son of Frances Marion Tate and Nancy Jane Tate) on September 24, 1895 in Monroe.[2]

Their children were:

For fourty (40) years they lived in Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[3][4][5][6]

She died on 13 November 1939, in Monroe, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 66,[7] and was buried in Old Coker Creek Cemetery, Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[8]
